Well Done Sean

E-mail Print PDF

Congrats to Sean Birmingham of Scoil Mhuire, Kilvemnon. Sean has been chosen as one of the footballers to represent Tipperary in an 11 a side primary schools “Go Games” against Limerick schools in Fermoy on Sunday next.

This game is being played in conjunction with the Tipperary v Limerick Munster senior football championship game. To play in this game is a great honour for Sean and for his parents John and Monica who live in Ballycullen. It is also an honour for Sean’s schools and for his parish club.

Let’s hope that this is the first step on the road to super stardom for Seam. Well done. Perhaps the local air is responsible. The first Gaelic football team to represent Mullinahone was drawn from the Ballycullen area one hundred and twenty years ago. Go n-eiri leat a Sheain.

"And I wouldn't much care for Sierra Leone, If I hadn't seen Killenaule
And the man that was never in Mullinahone,
Shouldn't say he had travelled at all."
