The adjourned GAA AGM took place last Friday night and was well attended. For his first meeting chairman John Croke allowed plenty of debate on all aspects of the club and decided to defer selection of managers for senior teams to the February meeting.
However, because of the early start of the under 21 championships Sean O Meara was appointed to take charge of the under 21 hurling and football teams for the coming year. Training for the under 21’s will start at 8pm next Friday night. A meeting of the under 21’s panel will follow training.
John Vaughan was presented with a lamp to mark his 80th birthday and has taken up his appointment as Co Board delegate for another year.
Tommy O Sullivan is the club register for the coming year. Adult players €50, adult players with full use of gym €100. Students with student card and minors €25. Public member €30 & OAP’s €15.
