The Under-21 footballers got their preparation underway last weekend for the upcoming championship. They played a challenge game against Moyne on Friday night last under lights. They also represented Mullinahone in the county senior football league against Aherlow on Sunday last.
They were defeated by a very strong senior side but can be well pleased with the turnout of players. It is hoped that the games in the senior league will give them much needed practice for the Under-21 championship.
