We were delighted to have a winner in the recent draw. The lucky man was John Maher, Callan. John bought his ticket from local man Michael Walsh. Indeed Michael and his brother Pat do great work on behalf of the club in promoting and selling Tipperary draw tickets for which we are very grateful

Golf Classic
Our annual classic will take place this year on the first week in July in the Slievenamon Golf Club, Fethard. Joe Pollard has kindly agreed to head up a committee to run this event.With this in mind a special meeting will take place of Friday, 18th April in the sports hall at 9.00pm.
Preparations for the classic will put in place.

Well done to Jack Shelly on adding another Irish title to last year’s victory. Also to Paul Curran and Eoin Kelly on qualifying for the league semi-final.
Congratulations to AJ Cronin on making the U21 County Hurling panel. Best of luck to Sean Curran in his match against Waterford in the Munster minor football championship this Wednesday night.
We wish Cathal Horan, Martin Cody and Jackie Bolger every success in the U16 Munster Hurling final next Saturday. We also expect our U21 footballers to be playing the South final next weekend.

Paul Signs for O Loughlin’s
Paul Kelly has decided to throw in his lot with O Loughlin’s Geals for the coming year. After many efforts to persuade Paul to change his mind his decision is now made and we intend to accept it and wish him every success for the future. From under age right up to senior Paul has given us many wonderful moments and his loss will be immense.
I have no doubt his talents will shine in Kilkenny hurling and when they do even the Tipperary management team might consider him for selection. We wish you well Paul and maybe some day you may pull on the green and red again.
Booking of Field
In an effort to facilitate the various clubs using the field the following system has bee agreed at our last monthly meeting.
The field can only be booked through club secretary Oliver Vaughan. Bookings by individuals will not be accepted. All bookings by the various clubs and teams must go through the relevant club secretary.
