Christmas is celebrating God’s love for us

 

Let us thank and appreciate all the parishioners who help the Family of God in Mullinahone parish to express their faith in Liturgical celebrations in Church and in your homes.

 

We thank you for your very generous financial support for the needs of the poor worldwide and the upkeep of the parish itself. Your support for the priests of the Archdiocese is exemplary that reflects your appreciation and love for all priests.

 

Newsletter & Christmas card: Paul Meehan for excellent presentations.

 

Sacristan: Maureen Hennessey for devoted service.

 

John Doran: for the opening and closing the Church 365 days a year.

 

Eucharistic Ministers: & Judy Maher for organising the rota.

 

Readers: & Jerry Barrett for organising their rota and his leadership in so many ways.

 

Altar Servers: and their parents.

 

Church Accounts: Breda & Don Bolger and all who give so generously throughout the year.

 

Church Cleaning: Maureen Lanigan.

 

Fas: Ray O Sullivan and Ivan for their devoted work in keeping Church grounds and helping with the erection of crib, Christmas lights and those who decorated the Christmas trees.

 

Altar Society: Ladies for beautifying our Church each week with flowers and Rose Byrne for flower arrangements for special occasions.

 

Joe O Gorman: For starting the Christmas celebrations with the beat of the drum upholding Knocknagow tradition.

 

Rosie Walzer: Liturgical displays.

 

Vocations: Richard Sheehan for organising the Chalice programme and prayers for Vocations

First Holy Communion Preparation: Sr. Essie Hayes.

 

Envelope Collection: Martin Tobin.

 

Rosary for Vocations: Before Mass each weekday.

 

Annual Parish Magazine: Michael & Nora Larkin.

 

Schools: All our teachers, secretaries & cleaners.

 

Christmas Envelope: All who delivered envelopes and the Cahill family for preparing them.

 

Public Service: Dr. John Gillman, nurse Byrne, nurse O Mahony and Councillor Eddie O Meara for representing our needs at council level.

 

Sport: All who give of their time to provide recreation.

 

Parish Graveyards: To all who work hard to show reverence for our dead especially Johnny Houlihan and his helpers.

 

Community Council: Chairperson, Sheila Foley and committee.

 

The Tuesday Club for Senior Citizens: Organising committee: Monica Lawless, Alma Vaughan, Maura O Sullivan, Bridget Costello, Josephine Nye, Nellie Cahill and Margaret White. Entertainment; Joe O Gorman, John W. Smyth. Transport; John Dunne.
