Winter is over or at least, we have one of the signs of Spring. Our Senior Citizens Club or more officially the Knocknagow Retired Peoples Club is about to re-start it's fortnightly meetings. The first gathering of 2009 will be on Tuesday next March 3rd. As always, new members are wanted and transport can be arranged. If you want more information, do contact Maura O'Sullivan. Membership of the Club is open to any retired person in the area. Recently, I was looking at a famous meeting of the Club which took place in 1990. The meeting was a visit to the RTE studios in Dublin for the Live at Three Show. No doubt, the DVD show of that famous programme could be made available to interested parties.
