In the meantime the hall is available for all sports and juvenile functions such as indoor soccer, basketball, badminton, volleyball and underage parties that include the use of the hall for organised games. If you are interested in starting up any of these events you can contact Jackie Bolger on 086 8341843 or 53183. Work continues to be carried out on the car park and new entrance. Local builder Eugene O Brien is doing a wonderful job and we look forward to seeing the finished product.
Many of our members are taking part in games and trials. Sean Curran and Niall Cronin are presently involved with the county minor football panel.
Sean also has a trial with the minor hurlers. Donal Cody and AJ Cronin have had trials with the county under 21 hurlers.
Niall Curran is currently hurling with UCD. Paul Curran and Eoin Kelly have enjoyed their first win of the season with Tipperary. Martin Cody has been appointed South Tipperary under 16 hurling selector while Jackie Bolger had been appointed as hurling coach to South Tipp’s under 16’s.
Congrats to Moyle Rovers on reaching the All Ireland junior hurling championship final. They play Conahy Shamrocks from Kilkenny in the final next month under lights at Croke Park.
Ballingarry have reached the Munster final of the Junior B championship. Special wishes to Paddy Ivors and we hope he gets a Munster medal. Best of luck to all.
