Club Scene
By the time you read this our U21 footballers will have played their county football semi final against Upperchurch. Because of Tipp’s success in football and hurling senior football and senior hurling seems to be on the back burner for the moment.
Our minors enjoyed a good win over Carrick Davins midweek. Our U12, U14 and U16 teams continue in the championship. Details of all fixtures can be found in all your local papers.
Our U18’s and U10’s continue to train on Saturday mornings at 10 o clock. If you would like your boy or girl to take part go along any Saturday morning and the coaches will be only happy to give your any information you require.

Ladies Football
The only team to have a game to contend with this week was our U16’s. A first win for the girls and fantastic win at that. The girls played in the Mullinahone grounds on Wednesday gone with their impressive win over Moylerovers.
In top form with all our forwards showing their ability, putting scores on the board. Orla Meagher who is usually to be found in the back line showed her ability to play well in a different position up in full forward scoring a goal and a point for the team.
In half forward Jenny Logue was excellent, well on top of her game. In centre field Mairead Comerford was in super shape keeping the scores coming for the Mullinahone side. Not to be out done by the forwards our centre back Alison Fennelly came through from the back to put yet another point on the board. Shauna O Brien who is usually to be found playing in the forwards was by no means out of her depth when she took up a half back position and displayed great talent
Our regular goal keeper Sharon Keane was unable to play due to injury but great work in the back line right through to the forward line kept the pressure off Laura Walker in the goal.
The final score on the day was Mullinahone 4-9, Molye Rovers 2-7.
The team lined out for the game were:
Laura Walker, Teresa Dunne, Orla Meagher, Ailish O Meara, Jenny Logue, Sarah O Brien, Caoimhe Lyons, Stacey O Brien, Mairead Comerford, Shauna O Brien, Alison Fennelly, Colleen Kennedy, Erika Keane, Cathy Quirke, Brid Murray, Sharon Keane, Lorraine O Shea, Casey Fleming, Michaela Reilly, Keara Murray and Olga Lacey.
There was great support for the girls on the night and thanks to everyone who was there. The next game on the cards for the girls will be against Clonmel Commercials but no date had been set in stone yet.
The U12 training continues at 4.30 on Wednesday’s and a possible friendly for the juniors against Fethard on Wednesday.
Fundamental Course
There is a fundamental course coming up for anyone interesting helping out with the ladies football. Your support would be gratefully appreciated. For details on the course please contact: Helena at 087 9360783.
