Happy Days GAA

Our local GAA club have had a couple of good days on the field recently. First in action were our senior footballers. They played Carrick Swan in the first round of the county championship in Kilsheelin. In the end Mullinahone came out on top by 0-14 to 1-5.

The following day we played St Mary’s in the first round of the South Tipp under 21 B hurling championship. Again we had a good win by 2-16 to 3-6. Two good wins for manager Sean O Meara and happy days to look forward to later in the summer.

Ladies Football

The under 14 girls played against Moyle Rovers in the opposition’s home ground on Sunday last. The girls played well but unfortunately were beaten by the home side. The final score came to Moyle Rovers 3-10 to Mullinahone 2-5.

The under 14 panel included Niamh Bambrick, Lorraine O Shea, Sarah Lawlor, Ailish O Meara, Ciara MacDonald, Catherine Foley, Jenny Logue, Michaela Reilly, Colleen Kennedy, Olga Lacey, Jessica Scriven, Keara Murray, Erin Connolly, Kerrie Lawlor, Lorna Cody, Fiona Fennelly, Lucy Woodside, Teresa Dunne, Casey Fleming, Eimear Horan, Aisling Foley and Marie Lyons.
